MMA Republic Featherweight Rankings (EFC Top 5)

Rankings always seem to be a hot topic when it comes to match making in MMA. Although there is no science to these rankings , we thought it would be fun to map out the divisions in the EFC to try and establish who is in the conversation and who is not.
Important to note, we base these rankings on people that are clearly active in the EFC , not on Hiatus or retired. Things considered would be win streaks, finish rates, opponents beat and so on.

Champion – Igeu Kabesa
- Boyd Allen
- Roedie Roets
- Calum Marrie
- Luthando Biko
- Stephen Goncalves
Igueu Kabesa reigns supreme at Featherweight with contenders still under construction. His only defeat to Danny Henry who has since gone on to 2 emphatic victories in the UFC. Number 1 contender Boyd Allen has since turned his attention to a professional boxing career making highly unlikely that we will ever see Allen vs Kabesa. Roedie Roets might be relevantly new to the EFC scene but championship gold is nothing new to one of the EFC’s most promising prospects. It might be a bit early in his pro career for a shot but in a division lacking in depth of contenders perhaps it might be time to test the waters. Calum Murrie is 1-1 in the EFC but has a great professional record and hailing from the same gym as aforementioned Danny Henry. with a 100% finish rate in his last 3 wins he highly regarded as a title contender. Biko pops up again this time in the heavier weight class that he has been competing at. He has cemented himself in a position where a title shot could soon come in either division. Stephen Goncalves who recently lost a close fight against Biko ( in my opinion it was quite close) is definitely a couple of wins from being in the conversation. He is 5-1 and has only been to a decision once in all 5 victories.
