London, UK – UFC® has today announced its return to London for Saturday, March 21, at The O2, continuing its tradition of bringing world class MMA events to the nation’s capital.
Tickets for the event go on general sale at 10:00am GMT on Friday, January 31, via AXS and Ticketmaster. Fight Club members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets early at 9:00am GMT on Wednesday, January 29 whilst those who registered their interest early in this event will gain priority access at 10:00am GMT on Thursday, January 30.
In 2019, fans were treated to a thrilling main event at UFC FIGHT NIGHT® LONDON as fans witnessed the beginning of the ‘resurrection’ with Jorge Masvidal putting on a memorable display against Darren Till in The O2. British fighters Leon Edwards, Molly McCann and Nathaniel Wood also put in performances to remember, producing well-earned victories in front of a home crowd.
More recently, Darren Till made his eagerly anticipated middleweight debut at UFC® 244 where he went head-to-head with Kelvin Gastelum, defeating him via split decision at Madison Square Garden. McCann has also since gone from strength to strength since the London bout, beating Ariane Lipski and Diana Belbita in June and October respectively.
UFC Senior Vice President, International and Content, David Shaw, said: “The UK and Ireland is established as one of our flagship markets in Europe. We’re delighted to be returning to London, our fans are fantastic and have always shown up in their thousands to support their local hero’s.”
Following a sellout event last year, fans are advised to register their interest early via ufc.com/London to secure their tickets in advance and to follow @UFCEurope on Twitter for all the latest updates.
