UFC Las Vegas will yet again host a jammed packed event this weekend as heavyweight finishers collide, with No. 4 ranked Derrick “The Black Beast” Lewis facing No. 11 Aleksei “The Boa Constrictor” Oleinik.
Lewis will be looking to gain his third consecutive win and re-assert himself as a dangerous title threat. He has a record of 18 wins by KO and one via submission with seven of his wins coming in the first round. He’s won 11 of his last 14 and currently is on a back-to-back winning streak. He also holds Impressive wins over Francis Ngannou, Alexander Volkov and Travis Browne.
Oleinik is looking to force his way into the UFC heavyweight top five for the first time in his career by adding another top heavyweight to his list. The Boa Constrictor has 46 wins by submission and eight by KO and he’s won 17 of his last 21. Mark Hunt and Mirko Cro Cop are among those victories with his latest win against Fabricio Werdum in a 3rd round submission last May.

A champion return
In the co-main event, former UFC middleweight champion Chris “The All-American” Weidman will be looking to re-enter the middleweight rankings with a dominant win over a tough emerging contender Omari “Wolverine” Akhmedov. Weidman has previously gained wins over Anderson Silva (twice), Lyoto Machida and Vitor Belfort and has dealt out six wins by KO.
No. 11 ranked middleweight contender Omari Akhmedov will have his sights set on taking out his first former UFC champion to continue his ascent up the division. He currently sits with five wins and a draw from his last six bouts. He has 11 first-round finishes to his name with notable victories against over Ian Heinisch, Zak Cummings and Tim Boetsch.

Also, on the main card London’s Darren “The Dentist” Stewart will be taking on Maki “Coconut Bombz” Pitolo from the United States In the middleweight bout. The Dentist will be hoping to bounce back from a decision loss to Bartosz Fabinski in CageWarriors bout back In March. He’ll be feeling confident going into this fight with a history of convincing wins Including recent victories against Deron Winn, Bevon Lewis, Charles Byrd and Eric Spicely.
Fresh on the back of his first UFC win, Pitolo will be looking to establish his place In the UFC with in his third fight. His first UFC victory came against Charles Byrd with a TKO In May at UFC 250. In his career 7 of his 13 wins have coming from KOs and he’ll be looking to continue that trend.
