Rozenstruik vs Sakai – what you need to know

After a weekend off, UFC® action is back this weekend in Las Vegas with yet another thrilling card.
Knockout experts collide
This week’s headline event sees two top-10 heavyweight contenders vying for title contention as Jairzinho ‘Bigi Boy’ Rozenstruik faces Augusto Sakai.
Since making his debut in 2019, Jairzinho Rozenstruik has earned five knockouts in the UFC, more than anyone else in that time period. He holds an 11-2 record, 10 of which came by KO, seven were in the first round. His nine-second KO over Allen Crowder is the second fastest finish in heavyweight history in the UFC.
Augusto Sakai comes into this bout having won six of his last seven. He has also accumulated numerous knockouts, with 11 of his 15 career wins coming via KO. He has secured six first-round finishes and has the third-highest strike rate among active heavyweight UFC fighters.

The co main also sees two ranked heavyweight contenders clash, as no.8 ranked Walt ‘The Big Ticket’ Harris faces no.11 ranked Marcin ‘Tybur’ Tybura.
With all 13 of his wins coming via KO, Walt Harris is a finisher. Of these wins, 11 of them are in the first round and seven are within the first two minutes of the fight. He fights fast and ferociously and rarely gives his opponents a chance to settle.
On a four-bout win streak, Marcin Tybura will look to maintain his positive momentum. Tybura looks to end bouts quickly, securing nine first-round finishes so far in his career. He holds 22 career wins, eight via KO and six via submission.
Brits in action
Two British athletes are on the card, with Tom Breese, from England, taking on Antonio Arroyo in the middleweight division and Mason ‘Dragon’ Jones, from Wales, facing Alan Patrick at lightweight.
With a 12-3 professional record, Tom has quickly established himself as a finisher. He has finished all but one of his fights, six by submission and five via KO. In these bouts he has secured eight first-round finishes.
Mason Jones has a 10-1 record, seven of those wins are finishes, four by KO and three via submission. The Welshman lost on his UFC debut; however, it was a great bout that earned him the fight of the night bonus.
