UAE Warriors is looking t mark their 10th year with a mark on the African Continent. UAE Warriors 25 and 26 will feature African Fighter’s from all over the globe, battling it out for their respective Countries origin , on one of the biggest global MMA stages. Covid induced travel restrictions had forced the promotion to reschedule the event initially , but with new dates set, the fight cards are taking shape.
Many Hopeful South African athletes are looking to make their mark with the promotion, and talk of African event has galvanized athletes hopes to get an opportunity with the UAE based promotion. The ever growing South African athletes roster now includes , Zaakir Badat, Demarte Pena, Sylvester Chipfumbu, Themba Gorimbo, making it the biggest home for South African Athletes outside of the EFC.
Adding to the roster is EFC Bantamweight Champion and pride of Gqeberha, Sindile “The Ghost” Manengela. It was recently announced that he will face Juares “The Crazy Cameroon” Boujeka-Dea in the co main event at UAE Warriors 25 on Friday 25 February 2022. Manengela, The Judoka turned MMA champion (8-6-0), Fresh off his Title win at EFC90 Will look to make his mark on the international stage against the Dubai based Cameroonian with a history on Judo as well as being a UAE Muay Thai Champion before focusing on MMA. Dea(7-4-0-1) Is looking to break a 2 fight win streak in his 7th Apperance for the UAE Warriors on 25 March .
